  2. The In-Office, One Time Treatment: With this option, after one office treatment, you never have to think about it again. Dr. Nilash Patel will fully numb your gums, then use the power-driven PROPEL EXCELLERATOR PT to make tiny, controlled perforations in the alveolar bone around your tooth roots. This stimulates cytokine activity, thereby, accelerating alveolar bone remodeling and allowing tooth roots to migrate faster on the path of the orthodontic aligner. This in-office treatment is fast. After the numbness wears off, you may feel slight discomfort for the first day, which can be treated with over-the-counter acetaminophen (Tylenol). You will be able to immediately return to your normal daily routine.

Which PROPEL option is right for you?

  • The advantage of the Take Home option is that your aligners are firmly seated after its use, so using it after you brush your teeth before bedtime ensures overnight tooth movement will be optimally fast.
